Do you remember when collages were made using old magazines, scissors, and glue? TurboCollage has turned this process into the digital era. You can use it to create collages with your favorite photos.
The program is rather simple to use. First, you need to select the photos you want to add to your collage. By default, the software uses the Picture Pile pattern, but you can use any of the 10 patterns available. Then, you can manage the size of each photo and the type and color of the border. You can also add shadows as if they were floating over the background.
And speaking of backgrounds, you can leave it white by default, or add a solid color of your choice. Also, you can set an image or pattern from your collection. You can also add any text you want, setting the type, size, and color of the font, Finally, you can export the resulting image into a JPG file.
On the developer´s website, you can find video tutorials to make collages for different uses, such as Facebook start pages, Pinterest pins, and more.
The main disadvantage is that the program is subscription-based; that is, you don't own the software, but you simply pay for the right to use it during a certain period, typically, one year. Thus, once that period is finished, you will need to pay again in order to keep using it.
The trial version places a watermark on the exported photos. If you like the program and want to get rid of this limitation, then you will need to purchase a subscription.
If you enjoy making digital collages with your photos or images, then you may find this program useful.
